Watch step-by-step how easy it is to install wainscoating in any room of your home!
The experienced custom builder will teach you exactly how to prepare and install it yourself.
A wainscoating treatment can transform any room in just one weekend, with just a few tools and some home center trim work!
What is wainscoting?
Wainscoting is a lower wall treatment that adds a more upscale, formal look to a room at minimal cost. Wainscoting usually consists of three parts: chair-rail molding, baseboard, and a series of design pieces in between.
What is Picture Frame Wainscoating?
Also called Shadow Box Wainscoating, this treatment consists of "boxes" created by adding "picture frames" of trim work underneath the chair rail treatment.
What is Ladder Rail Wainscoating?
One of the easiest do it yourself treatments, ladder rail wainscoating is vertical trim tacked up in a series of steps, ending at chair rail height.
What is Beadboard Wainscoating?
Beadboard wainscoating consists of panels installed between baseboard and chair rail, with interesting texture and grooves.
You'll learn exactly what to do to install each of these three types of wainscoating, in just two hours onsite with Stanton Homes!
At this wainscoting trim and detail Meet the Builder event, you can also learn more about the Stanton Homes' Build On Your Lot program! We can help you find a lot in a beautiful custom home community or on acreage.
